Dear
Corona Virus
I
am writing this letter to you on behalf of the whole mankind to say thanks to
you for blessing our lives with such profound equanimity that you spared none -
black or white, big or small, rich or poor, developed or developing, super
power or zero power, theist or atheist, righteous or otherwise, in such
calm and cool fashion that you have practically become God like.
Can
you please enlighten us all, about who you actually are? People say that you are
invisible; so is God, isn’t He? People say you are very powerful; so is God! People
say you can kill people in large numbers; so can be done through some coward
terrorist acts also. Are you a terrorist? I just wanted to ask you..can you
give life to the people? If your answer is No..I can safely assume that you are
not God.
And
if you are not God, do you have any idea as to what have you done to the
mankind? I have neither witnessed nor read, at least in my life time, anything
like this happening at the same time to the entire world though I have a little
knowledge about issues like global warming, poverty, illiteracy, human rights
violation, child labour etc. None of these issues could ever brought the entire
mankind together despite the ilk of Malala, Greta Thunberg or Kailash Satyarthi
striving so hard for that. You know, you have brought the entire mankind
together in its fight against you. So I assume that you are definitely some BIG SHOT who has taken the entire world in its fold, your command has become our
wish. We all are following every bit of instructions given to us in order to
avoid any face to face audience with you. We are all under the grip of
fear..you know, you have scared us all to the bones. And in this fear, you have
unknowingly done something so great that I feel obliged to say thanks to you.
That is why I am precisely addressing you in the open. You have brought out the
best of all values, the unity of mankind, though it is against you only. You
are killing our folks in big numbers everywhere so it is very much
understandable to unite against you. So rest assured, soon you will be running
for your life too and remember as it happens you will be leaving the mankind a
better species..those who understand that united we stand, those who love
nature in its totality, those who love family and family time more than their
possessions and those who love their neighbours too.

Indeed everything is a lesson, this one is a hard learned. We have to reprimand our lifestyle ls to sync in with nature. Thanks madam for such thought provoking inputs.

DeleteWhat was once common sense, has to be taught so cruel a way. But then life's lessons are the real lasting ones..it is just that most of us needed to be taught at the same time.

Dear unknown, this disguised bliss is actually bliss for people like me and you. The news of daily workers' s plight has moved me to the cores. I think these people are paying for the sins of well to do people and their choices actually have become limited.

ReplyDeleteIt is even bigger than that I believe. It has united the whole world and for the time being no one is talking about any religion or politics in the name of religion. The only religion is Humanity.
DeleteWell written ma'am. One thing the current situation has taught the entire mankind is follow discipline everywhere. The nature once again showed that it is the supreme power. If humans want to survive we all must respect it.
